Isabella Tonks

Isabella joined Willana Urban, as part of the University of New South Wales’ Bachelor of City Planning (Hons) practice year, in 2020,  The practice year is embedded in the UNSW Bachelor of City Planning (Hons) program.  The program aims at providing students, like Isabella, with an opportunity of gaining practical skills in industry prior to completing the academic curriculum.  Willana Urban, as an Industry Partner, is pleased to have Isabella on board.   Isabella will be mentored, throughout her year, by both directors of Willana Urban, Stuart Harding and Vicki Shirlaw.  This is a great opportunity for Isabella to gain practical experience and exposure to planning, business practice and project management.  In particular, being mentored by the planning director, Stuart Harding, who has over thirty years of planning experience in both the public and private sector.  Isabella has an interest in statutory planning and would like to gain more experience in development assessment. Throughout her time at Willana Urban, she will be exposed to an array of planning issues; documentation and planning strategies and will work closely with our senior members of the Willana team.
